Hilsman Cyber Days
While our school is closed, school will continue from home. We are implementing distance learning across the district, where students will continue school virtually from home, as will our school staff. Meal Service for CCSD Students
Beginning Tuesday, March 17th, all CCSD students can receive daily free bagged meals for pickup at 2 school sites as well as neighborhood hubs. For more information on pickup and delivery locations, as well as service guidelines and community resources, please CLICK HERE.

Meet With Teachers via Zoom!
Our teachers are available to video chat with students via Zoom each day. Each subject has a specific time where they will be available to meet with students:

ELA - 9:00-10:00am
Math - 10:00-11:00am
Science - 11:00am-12:00pm
Social Studies - 12:00-1:00pm

These are excellent chances for students to ask questions about their work, to review, play games, or simply just catch up. We miss our students dearly and Zoom has proven to be a great way to stay connected!

March 16, 2020 Parents Guide to Google Classroom  link Hilsman Cyber Days Letter to Parents and Students   Hilsman Administration School closed Monday, March 16 through Friday March 20. More details as we received them from the Clarke County District Superintendent Meals for Students — The Clarke County School District will provide free meals to students during the closure caused by the COVID-19 virus. The district will offer meals for pick up at two school sites as well as neighborhood hubs. Students will receive a breakfast and lunch meal. Service will begin Tuesday, March 17.  Service Guidelines  To ensure the safety of all our students, we request the following guidelines be followed: 1. Students must be present to get their meals.  2. At this time, adult meals are not available for purchase.  3. Students must take the entire meal – choices will not be provided.  4. Announcements:  Students Return Face-to-Face This Week! K-8 students will begin in-person instruction starting Monday November 9th, with families also having the option to remain virtual. Below are a few helpful links to check out with regards to our reopening: - CCSD Weekly Update - posted 11/6 - CCSD Reopening Information FAQ - posted 10/30 - CCSD Reopening Info tab (contains all documents and updates from the school district) - Hilsman Town Hall Nov. 5th Slideshow Asynchronous Work Day for Virtual Students on Monday 11/9 There will be no Zoom classes for virtual students on Monday -- instead, teachers will post asynchronous assignments on Google Classroom for students to work on independently. This is because much of Monday will be spent going over new rules and procedures with our face-to-face students as we get used to returning to the building.
