Parent Conferences are next month! You should have received a Parent Conference letter from your child's 2nd Period teacher or case manager.  Conferences will take place March 28-30.  ELA News In celebration of Black History Month, 7th Grade ELA students will continue to work on an informative essay about how an important African American figure of their choice behaved like a hero. On Thursday and Friday, students will be presenting their research in class during a class wide "Black History Forum." ***Students have a 30 minute per night reading log.  RL1: Cite several pieces of textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text. L2: Analyze the main ideas and supporting details presented in diverse media and formats and explain how the ideas clarify a topic, text, or issue under study.
