ELA News
Dear Parents,We have gotten off to a great start during the first week of school. Students have already read a short fictional story and are responding to the text through illustrations and writing. During our second week of school, we will begin studying folktales from the Middle East. We will continue to explore folktales from other cultures and countries over the next three weeks.
The ELA Class Syllabus was sent home with your child last week on Wednesday, Aug. 10th on a bright green sheet of paper. If you have not seen the class syllabus, please ask your child about it. The syllabus has information about the class and my contact information should you need to reach me. At the bottom of the syllabus is a parent signature form that needs to be completed and returned as soon as possible. Thank you!
