Ag Class / FFA News
Tuesday - FFA meeting from 4-6pm in Mrs. Martin's room. There will be a costume contest if you would like to participate.
Wednesday - ALL Ag classes have an SAE check - 1 hour/1 picture due on the SAE presentation template. You will have time to update in class but you must have your pictures in your Google Drive. We have gone over the document in class and there are direction slides on how to insert hours and pictures on The template. This cannot be made up as a checkpoint is what you have done at this time. This was assigned the first day of class and students have been given reminders. There are hundreds of ideas on the SAE ideas document on Google Classroom.

Math News
The current unit in your child's mathematics class this year is Stretching and Shrinking: Understanding Similarity. Its focus is geometry. It teaches students to understand and use the idea of similarity. In this unit, students will find relationships among figures that have been stretched or shrunk. They will analyze the resulting changes in properties of the figures, such as area and perimeter. Similarity will also be used to find the heights of real objects (such as buildings and flagpoles).
Homework is given on Monday; due on Friday.
