Math News
This week we will continue our work in Stretching and Shrinking and build on what it means for shapes to be similar. We will begin by identifying similar shapes and identifying scale factors, and using that information to build toward identifying missing side lengths of similar figures.
Accelerated Math: This week students will develop understanding and skills in working with the angles formed when parallel lines are cut by traversals. A special application of this principle is represented in the fact that opposite angles of any parallelogram are congruent and adjacent angles are supplementary.
