Math News
Week 4 is off to a great start. Students are continuing to learn about positive and negative numbers, and developing algorithms for addition and subtraction. Each day, we guide students through presentations as a way to ensure that all necessary content is being covered. Linked below is an example presentation that all math classes will be using this week. CMP3 Example Presentation

On Tuesday, homework will be assigned to students in order to track their progress throughout the first few weeks of school. The homework assignment will be due on Thursday. Furthermore, on Wednesday, students will take a "Partner Quiz" covering topics discussed during the past two weeks. You can expect grades to be updated every 7-10 days in Infinite Campus.

Looking for some fun resources/games to help your student? The following are awesome tools! 1. Math Master app (FREE - can be found in any mobile app store). 2. Orbit Integers (adding integers). 3. Integer Warp (multiplying integers).

Please feel free to email your child's respective math teacher if you have any questions.
