7th Grade News: August 27-31, 2018
Binder Checks!
Students are doing fantastic staying organized and using their supplies to support learning. Each content will be checking binders throughout the week help students maintain their organization. They will be looking for each student to have a binder, agenda, pencil pouch or pencil case, pen/pencil/highlighter, dividers, a homework folder or homework section, and notebook paper. Students who maintain these supplies throughout the month will earn a dress down day at the end of the month!
The first dress down day will be Friday, August 31. Students will know if they are eligible if they earned at least 80 points on their yellow or blue binder check sheet.

Social Studies News
Students are studying the geography and cultures of the Middle East. This week they are focusing on the three monotheistic religions that were founded in the Middle East--Judaism, Christianity, and Islam--including important terms and concepts. Next week, students will learn about three prominent ethnic groups in the Middle East: Arabs, Kurds, and Persians. Digital copies of many (not all) of the assignments are also uploaded in Google Classroom also. Thank you for your support!

Spanish News
The 7th Grade On-Level & 7th Grade Advanced classes are finishing their final week of unit revision. This unit revision includes all of the curriculum that the students learned in their 6th grade Spanish class.
