This week will continue Unit 1 - Accentuate the Negative: Positive and Negative Numbers
Students have experienced positive and negative numbers informally in their everyday world - in temperatures, in sports scores, and in game contexts; now they will develop formal ways to work with these numbers.

Social Studies News
Students are studying the geography and cultures of the Middle East. This week they are focusing on three prominent ethnic groups in the Middle East: Arabs, Kurds, and Persians. This includes the predominant religions as well as the cultural characteristics of each ethnic group (language, clothing, music, food, customs, etc). Digital copies of many (not all) of the assignments are also uploaded in Google Classroom also. Thank you for your support!

Spanish News
The 7th Grade On-Level & 7th Grade Advanced classes are finishing their unit revision and beginning to learn about definite and indefinite articles. This unit revision includes all of the curriculum that the students learned in their 6th grade Spanish class.
