Tuesday = Biome & Ecology Review
Wednesday = Biomes & Ecology TEST
Thursday = Classification & Dichotomous Keys
Friday = Dichotomous Keys & Big 10 Quiz #7

Students need a Notebook for Science Work.  The Science Notebook can be a spiral notebook or a composition book.  Science Notebooks will be checked about once a month. Students in Ms. Hughes and Coach Turner's Science classes had a Notebook Check 2 weeks ago.  Grades in Campus have been updated with the Notebook grades included.  If you notice a significant drop in your child's grade, ask him or her about the Science Notebook.  A Table of Contents for the Notebook is linked here:  Notebook Check #1 Table of Contents

Social Studies News

Students are beginning unit 2, which focuses on the modern history of the Middle East (not governments and economies, which is unit 3 -- sorry for any confusion!). Students will read a lot of documents during this unit, many of them being primary sources. You can support them by (1) asking what they are reading and (2) re-reading some of the documents with them. This is a great way for students to read the required nightly 20-30 minutes for ELA. The documents will all be located in Google Classroom and listed in this document.
